Mu Sic Han lifted his head from Nan Zhi’s elegant and delicate neck, studying her calm, tearless face, unmoved and without any response. His sharp brows rose slightly, and his seductive, thin lips curved into a wicked smile. “You’re like a block of wood. What, that person hasn’t left yet?”

As he spoke, his broad hand reached beneath her skirt.

Nan Zhi’s pupils contracted; she hurriedly pulled his hand out. His fingertips, roughened by faint calluses, left her thigh burning hot where he touched. Her fair, translucent ears flushed with redness—not from shy excitement, but from the anger his shamelessness provoked.

Mu Sic Han watched her, seeing her cheeks redden as if she were furious, his tall and wild frame reclining against the chair back, hands clasped behind his head, regarding her leisurely, as if nothing could disturb him. “I haven’t even touched you, and you’re already this flustered?”

He must be doing this on purpose.

“Which eye of yours sees me flustered? I have nothing to do with you, and you just reach under someone’s skirt? That’s hardly gentlemanly conduct!”

Mu Sic Han’s dark gaze, deep as a well, bore into her, lips lifting in a lazy, roguish smile. “In front of the woman I want, why should I act like a gentleman?”

Nan Zhi fell silent. His logic was anything but normal.

Indeed, he was perverse, domineering, arrogant, and irritable—not a normal person at all.

Nan Zhi looked at his cold, angular, rebellious features, steadying herself and speaking coolly, “We’ve only met two or three times. What do you see in me? If it’s something I can change, I’ll do it.”

Mu Sic Han’s eyes darkened; he leaned closer, pressing against her soft chest. Instinctively, she leaned back, but he seized the back of her head, his seductive lips nearly touching hers. “What I want is exactly your repeated refusals.”

Nan Zhi had no words left. She realized normal communication with this pathological man was impossible.

He opened his mouth and bit her nose tip lightly, laughing arrogantly. “Woman, I don’t believe you’ve ever seen a face better looking than mine. The first time we met, didn’t you show me your chest?”

He was insufferably arrogant and self-absorbed!

Nan Zhi frowned, explaining with frustration, “The buttons accidentally came undone. It wasn’t intentional.”

“The second time, you buried yourself under my arm, your hand landed somewhere—shall I help you recall it again?”

Before Nan Zhi could respond, he grabbed her hand and pressed it against his abdomen.

Startled, Nan Zhi quickly retracted her hand, her face paling. “That time in the private room wasn’t on purpose.”

“I have no interest in you at all. You’ve misunderstood me. As for what you said about blocking me or those bath photos, I really know nothing about it.”

His lips lost their arrogant smile, jawline tightening, and an icy chill radiated from him.

The atmosphere in the car instantly dropped to freezing point.

Nan Zhi broke out in a cold sweat along her spine.

Oh no—he was about to get angry again.

But if she didn’t clarify things, he’d keep misunderstanding.

He truly was the most unreasonable, hardest to communicate with person she’d ever met.

Taking a deep breath, she tried to keep her tone as gentle as possible. “Young Master Mu, today’s interview is very important to me. If you want to settle things with me, or if there are any misunderstandings left, please let me finish the interview first. Then we can talk properly, okay?”

Her eyes reddened with anxiousness, beautiful irises shimmering with a faint layer of moisture, bright and luminous, her thick lashes casting a shadow across her small face. She looked just like a pitiful little kitten.

The anger filling Mu Sic Han’s chest suddenly softened. He cupped her delicate face in his large hand, his smile lazy and alluring. “Alright. I’ll let you go—after you give me a kiss.”
