The group arrived at the snow-covered ski resort in high spirits. At a glance, the entire world appeared to be wrapped in a silver cloak, a breathtaking sight to behold. Among the crowd, Shen Mengxia was as striking as a sprite of the snow; with her petite, dainty frame and adorable, wide-eyed expression, she was enough to stir anyone's heart with affection.

They had originally planned to hire several instructors to guide them, but only one was available at the moment, as the others had not yet finished their previous lessons. Everyone had no choice but to wait for a while. However, the impatient Ye Huaiting could not contain himself. No sooner had he finished putting on his full set of gear than he rushed off down the slope on his own, leaving Shen Mengxia behind to stare in frustration and anxiety.

"Ye Huaiting, how could you be like this! You could at least teach me!" Shen Mengxia shouted poutily in the direction of his departure.

Ye Huaiting waved his hand without looking back and yelled, "Oh, Xiaxia, just wait a little longer! Another instructor will be free soon. I’m going to go have some fun first!" With that, he vanished like an arrow released from a bow at the end of the run.

Seeing this, Shen Mengxia stamped her feet in anger, her lips pursed as she muttered her dissatisfaction. Nearby, Shen Mengqing witnessed the scene and couldn't help but offer a smile that was as kind as a doting mother’s, yet tinged with amusement. She then turned and walked toward the side with the instructor who had been waiting, ready to begin learning the techniques.

Just then, Fu Yanchen, who had been quietly keeping an eye on Shen Mengxia, stepped forward. His eyes filled with endless tenderness and indulgence as he whispered to her, "Xiaxia, let me teach you."

Hearing this, Shen Mengxia looked up, her bright, sparkling eyes wide with curiosity as she asked, "Big Brother, are you good at skiing too?"

"Of course. I’m every bit as good as the instructors," Fu Yanchen replied, though he immediately felt a bit cringey at his own words.

Fu Yanchen took Shen Mengxia’s hand firmly; her palms were slightly damp with sweat, betraying a hint of nervousness. He comforted her softly, "Don't be afraid. I will be right here with you."

Shen Mengxia nodded, her gaze fixed resolutely ahead. Fu Yanchen slowly led her as they glided down the slope, feeling the rush of the wind and the softness of the snow.

"Now, try to control your speed with your feet," Fu Yanchen guided her gently, his hand resting lightly on her waist to provide support and encouragement.

Shen Mengxia tried cautiously, her body gradually relaxing as she began to enjoy the thrill of skiing. Fu Yanchen watched her with a smile, his eyes brimming with adoration.

"Wow, I think I’ve got the hang of it!" Shen Mengxia exclaimed, her face radiant with joy.

Watching her, a surge of warmth welled up in Fu Yanchen’s heart. He tugged gently on her hand, signaling for her to stop.

"You’re doing great," Fu Yanchen whispered, leaning in close. His breath brushed against her cheek, causing her heart to skip a beat.

Shen Mengxia shyly lowered her head, a blush spreading across her face. Fu Yanchen reached out and gently stroked her hair. "Xiaxia is so clever; she learns everything in an instant."

"Thank you, Big Brother," she murmured, her voice laced with shyness.

Fu Yanchen looked down at her, his eyes shimmering with deep affection. He took her hand again and led her forward to continue their glide down the slope.

Suddenly, a snowplow that had lost control appeared from behind them, charging straight toward Shen Mengxia and Fu Yanchen. Because it was a steep slope, the vehicle was moving at a terrifying speed; a collision would surely be fatal. People behind them and on the sides began waving their arms and shouting frantically at them.
