Volume One, Chapter 11: She Seduced Me

“Uncle, have mercy!”

Lu Qian’an was grabbed by the collar and mercilessly punched several times, stars flashing before his eyes, his mouth filled with the metallic taste of blood.

“Didn’t I tell you to get out of the Lu family? And now you’re still trying to play tricks, blatantly ignoring my orders?”

Lu Tingxiao narrowed his eyes slightly, his gaze sharp and intimidating.

His voice was hoarse above her head, and the hand at her waist tightened its grip.

“Now is not the time. Stay awake, I’m taking you to see a doctor.”

Madam Lu entered, looking worn and weary, leading in the bruised and battered Lu Qian’an.

Seeing Lu Tingxiao sitting on the sofa, her expression hesitated for a moment. But upon noticing Qiao Ye was unharmed, she still couldn’t help but raise her brow and scold.

“Qiao Ye, the Lu family has treated you well. Is this how you treat your husband? Look what you’ve done to Qian’an!”

“I was the one who hit him. I told Lu Qian’an to get lost. He forced himself on Qiao Ye and thought he could shamelessly stay?”

“Or did he come back thinking he could ignore me completely?”

Hiding behind Madam Lu, Lu Qian’an broke out in cold sweat, but emboldened by her support, he started defending himself.
